Afraid of the dentist? Not with this book!
Children are due for their first dental check-up starting with their first milk tooth, or at the age of three at the latest – followed by regular further appointments. This book helps make these check-ups part of children’s everyday lives. After all: You don’t fear what you know.
At his first dental appointment, little Tim first watches as his older sister Lisa is examined and learns which tools are used to fill a small cavity. Finally, he is sitting on the fascinating dentist chair
himself for the first time and opens his mouth so the dentist can take a look.

In the morning and in the evening, children are told: Don’t forget to brush your teeth! Why are teeth so important? When am I allowed to brush them myself and how do I do that? Thanks to playful flaps, children learn what our teeth look like and how cavities occur. The book provides helpful hints regarding proper brushing technique and demonstrates how we take care of our teeth: from finger toothbrushes for babies to regular toothbrushes and all the way to electric toothbrushes and dental floss.
Fact-checked by a paediatric dentist.
