There's a lot going on here! In Glückshausen, there's a town festival in the evening with live music and food stands, and even a flea market is being set up! Until the festival, the residents of Glückshausen go about their daily business: shopping at the weekly market, taking a yoga class in the city park, playing happily at the daycare center, and visiting the library and the city museum. Can you spot the window cleaners on the high-rise building? Where is the skater with the red pants? And what are the kids doing in the tree house?

The Illustrator
Anke Evers has been illustrating children's books since she spent many hours reading aloud to her own three children. Before that, she decorated shop windows, built sets, and planned room concepts. Later, she created unique, hand-sewn items for children in her own studio. Telling stories through pictures is Anke's great passion. She thinks that painting and drawing are a bit like playing—and that's something you should never stop doing.
