Content
An innovative concept for a book with five realistic bandages to make everything better and heal quickly!Five animals have hurt themselves: the dog has injured its paw, the monkey has a bump on its head, the bear was poked in the bottom, the sheep scraped its belly and the elephant has a flat trunk. There’s only one thing to do: give it a quick blow, put a bandage on it, and everything is all better. There is a matching bandage for each animal in the book. Large illustrations provide plenty of space for the bandages. The animating rhymes help the “patients” feel better. The bandages can be removed and cleaned with cold water over and over again, and stick to all smooth surfaces.
The Author
Bernd Penners, born in 1958, is an elementary school teacher and is still engaged in this career with great enthusiasm. With his books he would like to make children smile and show that it's a good idea to not always take things super seriously.
The Illustrator
Henning Löhlein, born in 1965, grew up in Bonn and then spent three years studying art and design in the south of France. An exchange program brought him to England, where he discovered illustration. He liked the English way of life and humor so much that he still lives in Bristol with his two children. After his studies, he worked for numerous English and German newspapers and magazines (The Guardian, The Financial Times, The Times, Hörzu, die Welt, Börse Online etc.). During this time he developed his animal characters more and more, such as his 'Dax' for "Börse Online", who experienced the ups and downs of the stock market. These characters wanted more space and for a few years now Henning Löhlein has been illustrating books, not always just for children
