Oops – before you know it, the vacuum cleaner has sucked up a playing piece. But how does it actually do that? And why does the plug have to go into the electrical outlet? Children can learn that and much more in this book. They discover how the dishwasher cleans the dishes and why some appliances need electricity. Using flaps, they can change batteries, help with the ironing and look inside a lawnmower. At the end of the book, a search-and-find image invites them to find all the appliances.
