Toni is loving her internship at the BioTop plant nursery. Her friends aren't quite as lucky: all Cora-Lee is allowed to do at the animal hospital is restock the cupboards, Elif is bored out of her mind at the tax agent's, and Adam didn't even look for an internship position in the first place. Thus, Toni isn't surprised that the three of them turn up at the plant nursery one after the other in order to get involved. And BioTop actually does urgently need help because someone is playing ruinous pranks on them. Only a clever plan can save the plant paradise now.

About the Series

Colourful everyday adventures for readers aged 8+. Toni loves her apartment building, because her friends live there too! Together they create a garden on the roof, sowing wild vegetables, confidence and happiness, and having fun adventures in the city.

The Author

Gina Mayer was born in Ellwangen, Germany, in 1965, and studied graphic design. She lives with her husband and two children in Düsseldorf, where she works as an advertising copywriter in addition to writing books for teens and adults.

The Illustrator

Daniela Kohl drew a lot as a child and loved sitting high up in fruit trees and snacking on ripe fruit. She studied communication design in Munich and shortly afterwards set up her own business as an illustrator. She has since illustrated numerous children's books, including the bestselling "Mein Lotta-Leben" series. In her free time, she grows herbs on her rooftop balcony in Munich and grows vegetables on a small plot of land.
