Toni is loving her internship at the BioTop plant nursery. About the Series

The Author

Gina Mayer was born in Ellwangen, Germany, in 1965, and studied graphic design. She lives with her husband and two children in Düsseldorf, where she works as an advertising copywriter in addition to writing books for teens and adults.

The Illustrator

Daniela Kohl drew a lot as a child and loved sitting high up in fruit trees and snacking on ripe fruit. She studied communication design in Munich and shortly afterwards set up her own business as an illustrator. She has since illustrated numerous children's books, including the bestselling "Mein Lotta-Leben" series. In her free time, she grows herbs on her rooftop balcony in Munich and grows vegetables on a small plot of land.
