About the Series

The Author
THiLO spent most of his childhood in his parents' bookshop, surrounded by Pippi Longstocking and Räuber Hotzenplotz – the perfect preparation for his later career as a children's author. After studying journalism, he first made a name for himself with his cabaret group "Die Motzbrocken." He also worked for radio and television and wrote scripts for "Sesame Street" and "Bibi Blocksberg," among others. He writes almost all of his books under his first name, Thilo. Today, he lives in Mainz
