The Author
Anne Scheller was born in 1980 and has been writing stories, non-fiction, puzzle and craft books, school materials and anything else that can be squeezed between two book covers for children since 2008. She lives with her family in the forests of the Lüneburg Heath.
The Illustrator
Stefan Seidel was born in Freiburg im Breisgau in 1971. He studied art education and geography and has lived in Dresden since 1995, where he founded a studio community and a lithography workshop. He has been working as an illustrator for various publishers since 2004 and has designed numerous picture books and non-fiction books for children. His detailed, clearly structured illustrations invite children and adults to explore the picture worlds together and discover something new time and again.Melanie Brockamp was born in 1973 and studied communications design in Hanover. She has illustrated children’s books for a variety of publishers since 2001.
Kyrima Trapp lives in a small house near Münster. Since she was a child, Kyrima has known that she wanted to paint. To follow that dream, she studied graphic arts and design in Münster and has focused on illustrating children's books. She now works as a freelance illustrator for several publishers and paints according to the motto:"I want children to enjoy books."
Steffen Walentowitz was born in 1962 and lives in Jever, Germany. Since 1986 he has painted and illustrated books for a number of publishers. His pictures have been exhibited in Germany, the Netherlands, England, Israel, Canada and in the USA.
