The Author

Gina Mayer was born in Ellwangen, Germany, in 1965, and studied graphic design. She lives with her husband and two children in Düsseldorf, where she works as an advertising copywriter in addition to writing books for teens and adults.

The Illustrator

Florentine Prechtel, born in Mönchengladbach in 1965, spent her childhood sailing the seven seas. She knew from an early age what her passion was – painting. Since completing her studies in graphic design and painting, she has been illustrating children's books. She loves trying out new techniques. The illustrator lives with her family in Freiburg
