Content

There's a lot going on in this book: Toni, Abena, Kojo and Lenny experience first hand how the fire brigade extinguishes a burning garbage can, saves Toni's cat from a tree and relocates a hornets' nest. As hobby detectives, the children prove their intuition and help the police with a search operation. They also look over the shoulders of brave emergency responders at the football stadium and at the local lake. Each of the 15 self-contained stories offers little morsels of factual knowledge.
