The Illustrator

Simone Pahl, born in 1968, has always loved drawing. She initially studied architecture in Berlin and published a large number of illustrations while still working as an architect. In 2004, she decided to turn her passion into her job. She has been working as a freelance illustrator ever since, providing sophisticated illustrations for teaching materials, learning games and children’s and young adult books by various publishers. Her goal is to use her empathetic and lively drawing style to convey the contents of texts in memorable ways. Simone Pahl is a member of the German association for illustrators.
