Content
The fire brigade has received an emergency call: who sounds the alarm? Who connects the hose to the fire hydrant? And who saves the cat in the tree? Through knocking, pointing, blowing and other simple interactions, children 18 months and over can get actively involved in this play book and help firefighter Thea with her rescue operations. Great fun! And on top of that, young children casually learn many exciting facts about the fire brigade.
The Author
Bernd Penners, born in 1958, is an elementary school teacher and is still engaged in this career with great enthusiasm. With his books he would like to make children smile and show that it's a good idea to not always take things super seriously.
The Illustrator
Ralf Butschkow was born in 1962 in Berlin and lives there still with his wife and two children. After studying graphics and working at an advertising agency for several years, his main occupation currently is illustrating children’s books.
