Content

Toni's friend Cora-Lee only has eyes for one thing these days: the colorful flowers on the fenced building site on their way to school. It is full of butterflies and bees. That's exactly what they need for their city garden! But when the diggers arrive, their insect paradise is in danger and Toni and her friends need to save the flowers! However, this can only be done secretly, in the dead of night.

The Author

Gina Mayer was born in Ellwangen, Germany, in 1965, and studied graphic design. She lives with her husband and two children in Düsseldorf, where she works as an advertising copywriter in addition to writing books for teens and adults.

The Illustrator

Daniela Kohl drew a lot as a child and loved sitting high up in fruit trees and snacking on ripe fruit. She studied communication design in Munich and shortly afterwards set up her own business as an illustrator. She has since illustrated numerous children's books, including the bestselling "Mein Lotta-Leben" series. In her free time, she grows herbs on her rooftop balcony in Munich and grows vegetables on a small plot of land.
