- Deep in the Canadian wilderness is a special school, Snowfields, where the best riders in the world are trained and deeply wounded souls are healed, horses and humans alike. Zoe finds it hard to believe that Crystal, the gentle and beautiful new horse, bit her caretaker out of the blue, but the best rider in the school, Isabelle, trembles with fright when she sees the mare.
ContentA beautiful, snow-white mare arrives at Snowfields to be healed. Crystal supposedly bit her trainer viciously for no apparent reason, but she is incredibly calm and gentle with everyone now. Is it just a rumor? While Zoe and her friends forge a bond with Crystal, the best rider at the school, Isabelle, trembles with fear at the mere sight of the mare, and is firmly convinced that this same horse is the one that nearly killed her brother. What is going on?
