Jasper the hamster loves Christmas almost as much as he loves hoarding and storing things. So Jasper has an idea: he will look after the other animals' presents until Christmas. Jasper's burrow quickly fills up and he is more than busy. But when his neighbors pick up their presents on Christmas morning, they realize how bare his home is. Naturally, the animals make sure that Jasper's burrow looks festive as well. A heartwarming Christmas story!

The Author

Andrea Schütze tried out just about every hobby you can think of during her childhood. At some point reading became her favorite, and that is why she enjoys writing books herself. She is a qualified dressmaker and a certified psychologist, but doesn’t have a seahorse emblem. She lives with her daughters in southern Germany. There is a place nearby where you can stand in Germany, France and Switzerland all at the same time – provided, of course, that you have three legs.

The Illustrator

Andrea Hebrock was born in Herford, studied visual communication with a focus on graphic design and illustration in Bielefeld and Hamburg. She lives and works as a freelance illustrator in Hamburg. She paints and draws children's and picture books, boardbooks for the little ones, games and much more. Since 1995, her cheerful character heroes have been published and translated by numerous German and international publishers.
