One cow, two pigs and three goats – there's a lot going on at the farm! In this magnet book, children can actively help out: who will feed the four lambs? Brief texts help them place the correct magnets on the magnetic pages. In addition, each page teaches them a different number: Leah has five carrots for five rabbits. What other items exist five times?
Using 6 large magnets, children playfully start learning how to count and discover farm animals.

The Author

Kathrin Orso spent her childhood in Landshut, Bavaria. Inspired by the books by Enid Blyton her big dream was to found a detective gang. Since this dream didn't come true, she started writing down her own adventure stories. In 2018 she became a freelance writer. In addition to youth novels and reading stories she writes lyrics for children's songs, picture books and comics.

The Illustrator

I'm an illustrator based in South London. I've always loved drawing and my earliest memory is drawing with my dad. As a child, I was obsessed with Beatrix Potter and her beautiful illustrations of cute fluffy bunnies and animals. Ever since I can remember, I always wanted to have the exact studio Beatrix had with her bunny sitting on her desk! Everywhere I go, I carry around a sketchbook and jot down every idea that comes to my head. Before I became an illustrator, I taught yoga to young children, making up innovative stories through yoga. This was what later inspired me to illustrate children's books. I love the hustle and bustle of the city and stopping off at small coffee shops, where I gather most of my inspiration from the people and atmosphere. Creating cute, fun characters is what I love about illustrating.
