There's always something to do on the farm: Who's going to drive the tractor? Who will help milk the cows? And who will collect the eggs? By clapping, stroking, shaking, and other easy-to-do actions, kids ages 18 months and up can get involved in this activity book and help farmer Lina with her work. It's fun! And along the way, toddlers also learn lots of exciting things about the animals and railway vehicles on the farm.

The Author

Bernd Penners, born in 1958, is an elementary school teacher and is still engaged in this career with great enthusiasm. With his books he would like to make children smile and show that it's a good idea to not always take things super seriously.

The Illustrator

Jutta Wetzel grew up in southern Germany, near the Black Forest. Like almost all illustrators, she trained as a graphic designer before realizing that she would rather draw than design advertising campaigns. She studied illustration at what was then the University of Applied Sciences for Design in Hamburg, specializing in children's book illustration. She initially worked as a full-time graphic designer in advertising agencies and a children's museum in the USA, but then decided to go freelance so that she could also take on illustration commissions. Since then, she has illustrated many different projects in collaboration with publishers in Germany and abroad. She still works as a freelance illustrator and lives with her family in Siegburg (near Bonn).
