The Author
Steffi Korda was born in Damme in 1974. After studying German and English in Nuremberg, Hamburg and Edinburgh, Scotland, she completed a traineeship at Carlsen. She then worked as an editor and program manager at various publishing houses. Steffi Korda has been working as a freelance editor and author in Hamburg since 2010. What she particularly likes about her job is working with many creative and imaginative people who all enjoy creating beautiful products for children. Her dream of happiness? "Health and to be able to sit on a bench at the end of life and say: Everything was fine the way it was."
The Illustrator
Dennis Mertz, born in 1974 in Marbach am Neckar, has worked for many years as an illustrator for well-known companies, agencies and publishing houses. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Remseck near Stuttgart.
