The Romeo & Juliet Society
Hardly anybody knows that Shakespeare’s play “Romeo & Juliet” is based on actual events …
Even today, there is a curse on the warring families of Romeo Montague and Julia Capulet: every seventeen years, a pair of lovers from both houses must sacrifice themselves. Joy is completely unaware of her dangerous heritage until two mysterious young men abduct her and take her to a secret academy. They tell her that her real name is Joy Capulet, that she must participate in a game about life and death – and cannot, under any circumstances, fall in love with a Montague.
