Something is going on on the meadow! Rain or shine, there's always something buzzing or humming here: butterflies flutter on the wind, snails trail through the grass and bumblebees search the flowers for nectar.Children make a voyage of discovery through their own gardens where they find all sorts of interesting creepy-crawly animals, most of which they would like to touch. In this book, little explorers have the chance to take a close look at these animals before they can hop or fly away. Here they can approach a bumblebee more closely than ever before, and they can observe a spider spinning its web. Children can also take peek below the ground and watch an earthworm in action.
This book provides fascinating pictures of the most familiar creepy-crawlies: the wingbeats of a butterfly, a caterpillar's progress down a branch, freshly hatched snails and a ladybug that says hello every day! We've hidden one of these most charming spotted bugs on every page for young explorers to find.
