This title takes very young children along to a farm and lets them explore all the exciting things to be discovered there. The farmer has to get up early, even on Sundays, because the animals are hungry! The cows need to be milked by machine now, but under a flap children can see how milking was done by hand earlier and lots of animal mothers need help finding their babies hiding in the pictures.But the farmer has more to do than just tend the animals. There is also work to be done in the fields, and the crops that grow there and the products made out of them are sold in the farm store.

The Author
Katja Reider studied German and publishing and for many years was press speaker for the "Youth Research" competition in Hamburg, Germany. She became an author after the birth of her own children and has since then published numerous books for children and young people, many of which have been translated into other languages.
The Illustrator
Anne Ebert, born in 1963, knew as a child she wanted to become an artist. She studied graphic design in Münster and focuses her work on nature illustrations. Anne Ebert has illustrated numerous books for Ravensburger.
