Content

Valkyries are immortal, powerful — and the last goddesses in existence.
For 18-year-old Blair, knowing about the Valkyries and their seat of power, Valhalla, is completely natural. That’s because her mother is one of these nine Valkyries who bring the souls of fallen heroes back to Valhalla. When Blair’s mother and sister are killed in a car accident, however, Blair’s world falls apart. The impossible has happened: an immortal goddess has departed her life. Blair is convinced that it was no accident, but murder, but no one wants to listen to her or believe her. Not even Blair’s best friend, Ryan, for whom her feelings have long been more than just friendly, takes her seriously.
And then all of a sudden Blair’s fate is tightly linked with that of the Valkyries: her mother’s powers have been transferred to Blair. Now she herself is a Valkyrie, becomes part of the circle of nine, and enters Valhalla for the first time.
At the same time, the Valkyries’ antagonists, the disciples of Chaos, are gaining strength. It becomes clear that they are behind the murder of Blair’s mother as well as another Valkyrie, and are working towards bringing about Ragnarök: the end of the world.
Now Blair and Ryan find themselves on opposing sides, as Ryan suddenly develops the traits of Chaos. But when he is badly injured in a fight, Blair has to make a decision, and in doing so she unintentionally unleashes Ragnarök.
Volume 2 will be published in Spring 2021!
