Friedemann is five years old, calm, and easygoing; anyone who has four older sisters needs steady nerves! Friedemann likes most things, but he definitely does not like pants, shirts, and socks. The only one who doesn’t have a problem with Friedemann being naked is Grandpa Kurt, who is also uncomplicated and relaxed. That’s why they get along so well. In Grandpa Kurt’s garden Friedemann gets a little peace from his clothing-obsessed family. One day, something blue is hanging in the apple tree – it must be a parachute, or a flight suit! He really likes the blue thing: it is blue like grandpa’s eyes, as soft as a hug, and just the right size. Friedemann willingly puts it on and decides he will never take it off again!
